Did you know?
Equipment and resources required for children with multiple disabilities are more extensive and expensive for reasons such as sturdiness, durability and special adaptations.
Port Phillip Specialist School requires ongoing specialised resources and infra-structure to support our very special students. The purchase of correct equipment enables children (regardless of ability) to fully participate in our innovative program.
There are many ways that you can support the very special students at Port Phillip Specialist School including:
Donations
Port Phillip Specialist School has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and is endorsed as an income tax exempt charitable entity. This means that donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. To donate, click here
Sponsorship
Become a partner of one of the many special events hosted by PPSS. Partnering and advertising at PPSS events presents outstanding marketing and networking opportunities plus the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of very special children. Perhaps you or your business might like to sponsor the purchase of some specialist equipment (eg. Wheelchair hoist, walkers, sensory path or interactive whiteboard). All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
Bequests
Port Phillip Specialist School wants to share dreams with you. Whatever support you would like to give, we can provide advice on how to design your bequest in a way that best reflects your aims. The school will also ensure that you and your donation are appropriately recognised.
Your bequest to Port Phillip Specialist School can support or contribute to:
- New equipment, facilities, or technology
- Special projects
- Building projects
- Professional development
- Prizes or awards
Alternatively, it can be a general donation towards the Port Phillip Specialist School Foundation to support the work of the Foundation. All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
Materials & Goods
PPSS welcomes offers of materials and goods from members of the public. Quality items are often required for open and silent auctions to assist in raising much needed funds. If you have an item to donate to the school we would be very grateful to receive it.
Volunteering
Have you got a few hours to spare? The PPSS community includes over 50 volunteers and their contribution is vital to the overall learning environment of our students.
